Children crowded around Spring Hills Somerset Assisted Living resident John Boucher as he read them “Mama Do You Love Me” on Sept. 12 to celebrate National Assisted Living Week (NALW). This year’s NALW theme was Family is Forever and the story Boucher read tells the story of a child testing the limits of her independence and a mother who reassuringly proves that a parent’s love is unconditional and everlasting. After the story, the seniors paired up with a child to color and enjoy a snack. The children were visiting from the local KinderCare. (Photo: ~Courtesy of Spring Hills Somerset Assisted Living)
