Music was in the air at the 100th birthday celebration for Spring Hills Morristown Assisted Living resident, Lucille Wojciechorski. Joined by her family and Spring Hills Morristown friends, the birthday party was filled with music and love. “Where there is music there is love,” she said.
Born on December 13, 1915 to a French designer father and a concert singer mother, Lucille remembers her home being filled with music. At a young age, she began piano lessons and still plays for her fellow residents at Spring Hills Morristown. She attended Roosevelt Business School and worked as an office secretary however she never forgot her passion for music. When her children were older, Lucille was the Performing Arts Coordinator at the Mount Tom School.
Lucille has been at Spring Hills Morristown for four years. She lived in the Bronx for most of her life until she and her husband, Joseph, moved their family to New Rochelle, NY. She has three children, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
